Lots of stuff happens in January!

Yea, A lot of stuff Happens in the month of January. From people slippin’ on the Ice to figuring out how to make the Boat more intriguing we are very busy this month.

So today Brad and I drew up some plans for a Merchandise table to be put in the aft portion of the main deck. I was also looking and brain storming what we could do with the Steamboat Minnehaha. Ahhh The question that we are always troubled by. Since most of our brain storming team have past 50 in age and the fact that we do not generally get many volunteers to join. We are always trying to figure out if there is another use for our boat. This year we are exploring the possibility of Friday night “concert Cruises.” We thought that after the Wayzata Concert series is completed that we would run our own concert cruise with smaller bands (like combos) because we have limited space on our boat. If you think this would be a successful adventure please come out the Friday before the season starts (I believe it is the 23nd of May) As we will be having a Practice consert cruise to Kick off the Season. We are trying to be different and make coming out to the boat a fun adventure for everyone. So If you have some insight I would love to hear your Ideas and so would our marketing team.

Also Don’t forget to stop by and see us at the Minnesota Boat Show at the Convention Center. We will be at a little booth with in the Antique Boat Club’s area. We will not be in the Main Show room we are in the area between the doors and the show room I guess you would call it the Wings or entry way (I Poasted a Link to the floor plan {look to the left column}). So come on out to see us and maybe fill out a volunteer form and talk to us about how much fun it is to volunteer on a boat all summer long. The Boat Show runs from January 22-27th. If you want to talk to me… I will be at the Boat show along with another volunteer between 4 & 10 Pm on Saturday the 26th. Hope to see you there.
